Riverport Chorus
Singing women's four-part barbershop style harmony, this
40-member chorus is part of
the worldwide organization of Sweet Adelines
International.
Our members hail from northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin and range from young
women to senior citizens; students to corporate executives; and first-time singers to
experienced musicians.
Riverport is an nine-time regional champion chorus and has competed in several
international competitions in cities including Houston, San Antonio, New Orleans, Salt
Lake City, Atlanta, Portland, Phoenix, Detroit, and Calgary, where they have placed as high as
tenth in the world.
Endless Opportunities
As a member of the Riverport chorus, you will have the opportunity to:
- enjoy the fun of singing with a large chorus
- sing with quartets, octets, or other small groups
- develop your musical abilities through private and group vocal instruction
- travel to regional and international conventions to compete and to learn more about this
style of music
- perform a variety of music from slow, tender ballads to energetic, fast-paced uptunes
- polish your performance with dazzling costumes and choreography

We encourage women of any age to visit one of our weekly rehearsals. We rehearse on
Monday evenings from 7:00-9:30 at Bristol Elementary School in Bristol, Wisconsin. Click here to see a map and
