Our director, June Berg, has a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University. In the Sweet Adelines organization, June is a Certified Director, Master Music Arranger, an International Faculty member, and a Certified Music Judge. June has been active in Sweet Adelines for 30 years, and is a highly respected vocal coach, director, teacher, and arranger. She travels regularly, both nationaly and internationaly, to coach and judge groups of women singers in the Sweet Adelines organization.
Riverport's Associate Director is Susan Musgrave. She joined Sweet Adelines as a member of the Forked River Chorus in 1979, serving as assistant director and interim director as well as baritone section leader in the years since then. In her non-Sweet Adeline life, Susan is a retired elementary school teacher from St. John's Lutheran School in Burlington. She is very involved in her church, where she directs the adult choir and teaches a weekly Bible study class. She is married to Bob and they both enjoy being grandparents to five energetic grandchildren.
Jamie is an Elementary Music Teacher and Co-Director of Young Voices at CATHE. She enjoys barbershop singing and is passionate about learning to teach the wonderful craft.
Greta completed the International Directors Certification Program in 2010 and is pleased to have a better understanding of our barbershop craft. We are pleased that she shares her detail orientated organizational skills with us as we strive to improve our barbershop production.
Sue has been a member of Riverport Chorus for 22 years. Recently retired, Sue taught vocal and general music for 36 years in Wisconsin. Her passion for teaching and love of music have been helpful in her duties as a lead section leader and member of the Music Team. Sue loves to perform and invites all women who love to sing to "give barbershop a try".
