Welcome!

Riverport Chorus is a group of approximately 40 women who gather together in celebration of the art form known as barbershop music. Although our members reside in Southeastern Wisconsin and Northeastern Illinois, we are part of a larger organization of about 30,000 women worldwide known as Sweet Adelines International. You can see Riverport Chorus perform throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and Northeastern Illinois in  addition to our annual participation in regional Sweet Adelines competition.

 

Our director is the wonderful June Berg, who inspires us to reach new heights with each performance. We can be heard throughout the year, singing for civic and charitable organizations, private groups, churches, community events, and fundraisers.

We love to entertain by putting on our own musical events each year for the community, our friends, and families. In an effort to stay committed to singing and performing at the highest level possible, we compete each year in a regional contest.

 

Riverport is a nine-time regional champion chorus and has competed in many international competitions in cities including Houston (1988), San Antonio (1991), New Orleans (1995), Salt Lake City (1997 - 10th Place), Atlanta (1999), Portland (2001), Phoenix (2003), Detroit (2005), and Calgary (2007).
